Who are we?
We are an adaptative skills-based microschool in the Waldron area. We have an emphasis on children with special needs though we are open to anyone. Our goal is to teach life skills along with the core subjects. We use skills-based learning as our model. We use play and hands on projects to reinforce the lessons that we teach.
What makes us different?
Our staff is trained to handle any behaviors that a child may have. We address them with compassion and reward good behaviors. Punishment is not part of our procedures.
We have a “calm” room for children that need to get frustrations out. A low-stim room for children needing a quiet area, and a high-stim area for children needing to use those big muscles!
Our class times are shorter to match attention span and are tethered to interactive activities that help learners retain the lessons. We focus on retention of knowledge, however it may look, and less on fact spewing.
What about tuition and funding?
We strive to never charge a family for any services. Each family applies for the Education Freedom Account (EFA) scholarships and use those funds to pay their child(s) tuition. These funds cover the entire tuition. We host events and are available for private meetings to help guide parents through the application and payment process.
What about curriculum?
We use Alveary, a Charlotte Mason Institute based curriculum. This is a student led educational approach that puts the student front and center of their learning journey. Student's current interests and passions are used to tailor their educational path. This path allows for knowledge retention and less on fact spewing.

What about transportation?
Beginning in the 2026/27 school year, we will be able to offer transportation! Our experienced driver, along with our trained van monitor will make sure your child gets to and from school safely each day.
